A SYSTEMS APPROACH TO HIGH PERFORMING TEAMS
High-performing teams don’t exist by chance—they are developed through a holistic, systems-based approach. Inspired by Ken Wilber’s Integral Model, our framework shows that teams are complex, living systems influenced by both individual and collective factors, as well as internal mindsets and external structures.
A team’s success depends on both visible and invisible elements—its internal work (mindset and culture), the external representation (behaviours), and the system they work in (structures).

But what is Team Coaching?
Is it the same as coaching a group?
Not quite.
Team Coaching is a practical way to apply the principles of coaching to the team as a whole. The Team Coach, however, becomes part of the team and wears different hats during team coaching sessions and team meetings. Imagine a football coach who is not on the field but watching the play and intervening when the team isn’t performing the way they need to in order to succeed. The Team Coach is the facilitator, the consultant, contract-maker and educator.

Our team coaches work closely with your team over a number of months, are part of your team meetings and facilitate team coaching sessions. Your team coach will help create goals and use dialogue, feedback and reflection throughout the sessions to achieve those goals.

No size fits all: We might be suggesting all or just some of these interventions. Every team’s journey looks different. The key is that team coaching best works in lockstep with other development tools
How it works:

Consult
Together with you, we will do a deep analysis of the individual, team and organisational challenges and successes at hand to get really clear on what works and what doesn’t. It’s all about the learning goals and desired outcomes, and we might have to involve stakeholders in this process. We then suggest the best way forward, which can look like the team coaching journey on the previous page.

Do the work
Our team coaches work closely with your team over a number of weeks or months, They might coach the team leader and team members in 1:1 sessions, will be part of your team’s meetings and facilitate team coaching sessions. Your team coach will help create goals and use dialogue, feedback and reflection throughout the sessions to achieve those goals. We will also design and facilitate leadership workshops or team offsites as we see fit.

Sponsor check-ins
A lot happens while we do the work. We will have regular check-ins with you as the sponsor and include stakeholders as needed. These check-ins ensure that we are staying on track with milestones and learning goals. We will also review the program and tweak interventions if necessary.

Evaluation
In partnership with you, we will evaluate the team coaching program by gathering feedback and data to gauge your ROI.
